Welcome to our Natural Art Collection

This is the place for rare South American Butterflies framed and preserved. This is also the place of the Great Red Giant Tarantula and the horrific Bird Spider.

All of the following art is based on natures wonders, yet nature is unharmed by any of these products. All insects are farmed and used in research which only helps preserve and halt the destruction of the Rain Forests which is still in process by loggers and idiotic governments.

Killer Taxidermy Framed Jumping Bird Spider in Attack Pose

This is one spider that should be named a killer indeed. The way this spider kills, or actually doesn't kill right away is the most gruesome way.

This spider used neurotoxins and tissue damaging toxins to hunt its pray and liquefy the pray internal organs. This way the spider can sip its live pray while the pray is alive, aware and immobilized.

In general (from personal experience) the smaller spiders/scorpions carry a bigger punch then the larger spiders such as tarantulas.

This is a perfect toxin for a spider that doesn't weave a web. Instead, this lovely spider stalks its pray and uses its great jumping capability to surprise, sting, stun and slurp the occasional wondering bird or other delicious creatures.

In short, with such inherent violent character, 1/4 inch fangs and a chance at neurotoxin, I wouldn't want to get stung by it, let alone be milk shake.

This spider is mounted in a standing form with it's hind legs charged at jumping.

The size of this frame is over 8 inches long and thickness 1.5 inches.

poisonous

Specifics:

  • Frame measures 8.25 inches by 7 inches
  • Spider measures 4 inches from tip to tip of legs
  • Body measures 2 inches from fang to tip of tail
  • Avicularia avicularia (member of the bird spider family)
  • Captivity raised
  • Comes ready to hang
