Up for sale is a
magnificent Fred Leighton ruby & diamond ring.
This ring is from an old
estate yet it's in a good condition.
It features a natural
untreated center ruby weighing approximately 4.50 carats (measurements:
12.8x7.5x4.5mm), plus after further inspection, we also believe that
this ruby originated from Burma.
This beautiful ruby is very
clean to the eye, under magnification you can see beautiful untouched
fingerprint inclusions which indicate the stone to be 100% natural. The
color of this ruby is intense red plus it has beautiful red fluorescence
which makes it burn like fire in sunlight (this is a known behavior for
most Burma rubies, that's why they are so desirable)
Additionally, there are 20
old cut diamonds around the center ruby, they are estimated to weigh
over 1.00 carats total, H color and VS to SI clarity.
This beautiful ring is a
timeless classic and a great investment in a natural untreated ruby
which is very rare.
This ring is signed Fred
Leighton, it is all 18K solid gold, the top of this ring measures
approximately 17x12mm and it should fit a finger size 6.
