Up for sale is a beautiful
antique maritime style diamond and emerald necklace in platinum & 18K
gold.
This beautiful piece is in
a very good condition, it is estimated to be from the 1960's or earlier.
It features a beautiful
green enamel anchor on a diamond and emerald flag.
The diamonds in this piece
are all antique cuts, they are estimated to weigh approximately 0.75
carats total. These diamonds are all G to H color and VS clarity which
is very nice in an old piece.
The emeralds are all step
cut natural emeralds. Some of the stones have been specially cut to fit
the design of this piece.
Their color is very rich
and vivid as most vintage to antique emeralds normally are.
The center of the flag is
solid platinum and the frame as well as the chain are 18K gold.
This creates a great look
for the piece and gives it good weight.
The necklace itself is
approximately 18.5 inches (45cm) long, the flag measures 29mm long by
20mm wide and the whole piece weighs over 7 grams.
