Up for sale is a beautiful
vintage Buccellati brooch depicting a gold Pixie.
This amazing brooch is in a
very good condition and it will make a great addition to any collection
and a wonderful gift.
The enamel work in this
piece is superb, the camera had hard time capturing the beautiful
peacock style enamel work on the wings of the pixie.
The Pixie is all yellow
gold with her hair blown upwards by the wind. Her wings are white gold
with delicate chasing (hand carving) and heavy blue enamel with green
hues.
The back of this piece is
signed Buccellati, Italy, 750 and it is also numbered.
This brooch measures
approximately 6cm by 4cm and weighs 23 grams.
