Up for sale is a beautiful
antique Victorian diamond garnet 14K pink and yellow gold ring.
This beautiful is very old,
over 100 years old, it has acceptable wear due to age but it looks great
on the hand, just look at the pictures.
The center of this ring is
a natural orange red garnet, also known as Spessartite Garnet or better
nicknamed Mandarin Garnet.
This type of garnet shows a
beautiful reddish orange color with beautiful life that it almost looks
like a ruby.
Around the center stone
there are 18 natural antique rose cut diamonds estimated to weigh over
1.25 carats.
Both the diamonds and the
garnet are original to this ring, they are very old cuts and have slight
wear. Regardless, the diamonds and the garnet and the ring as a whole
make a great classic Victorian impression.
The ring is tested for 14K
gold, the top part is all pink gold and the shank is yellow gold.
The top of this ring
measures 20mm by 10mm, this ring should fit a finger size 7. The ring
must have been sized at one point so it can probably be sized again by
any local jeweler.
