Up for sale is an amazing
22K+ pure gold hand carved agate ring.
This beautiful ring is used
but it is in a very good condition and it looks great on the hand.
The whole ring is made from
one piece of agate which was hand carved and fashioned in a very
unusual way.
After carving the agate,
the bottom of the sides of this ring were then fitted with pure gold.
This is not plating, but real gold a bit under 1mm thick.
The reason that pure gold
was used because it is easier to mold by hand onto a ring with
relatively low heat.
The gold was tested to be
between 22K to 24K (0.999 pure gold), but in reality this work can only
be done with pure 24K gold without damaging the agate.
You actually can feel the
difference when you put this ring on, it has a warm soft feeling to it
due to the purity of the gold and the superb hand work applied to this
piece.
This ring is not only
beautiful, but it's also a great investment in gold and a hell of a
show!!!
The top part of this ring
is approximately 23mm wide, the bottom is 19mm wide, it should fir a
finger size 6.5 and this whole ring weighs 22.7 grams.
