Up for
sale is a magnificent 19th Century Art Nouveau 22K solid yellow gold
emblem ring.
This
beautiful ring has some very unique decorations and Asian markings.
We figure it to either be Indian or Persian in origin, or at least
from the same region.
This ring
is very old, over 100 years old yet still in a very good condition.
It is made
of solid gold which tested over 22K solid, so it's between 22K and
0.999 pure as many rings from that region and period are.
The top of
the ring has some sort of emblem writing, the bottom of the head has
some flower decorations and the most unique of all are the 2 lions
or dragons on the side of the shank.
This ring
is heavy and solid, it weighs 28.8 grams of 22K+ solid gold which
makes this piece a great investment in gold.
The top of
the ring measures 21mm by 18mm and it raises 11mm over the finger.
The ring
should fit a finger size 5.75 but because it's so high in gold
content, a jeweler can stretch it to a larger size.
