for sale is a magnificent & sophisticated piece of jewelry from the
late 1800's.
This piece
is a brooch locket which can be worn as just a brooch while inside
it has a hidden compartment for pictures.
This
beautiful piece originates from Europe, the back has one hallmark
which looks like French.
The center
of this brooch is a beautiful hand carved Cherub rowing a little sea
shell on water. This carving is very unique and unusual but it's
also very nicely done.
Around the
center there are hand carved decorations set with old cut diamonds
in fine details. There are a few diamonds that are probably missing,
but you can't tell because of how well this piece was made.
Overall,
for a piece well over 100 years old, this brooch is in a good
condition.

beautiful piece measures approximately 4cm long by 3cm wide and it weighs 21.5 grams.
