Up
for sale is a very special antique pink gold brooch.
This
brooch is set with antique cut rare natural Demantoid Garnets,
Rubies and Diamonds.
The
Demantoid garnets weigh approximately 2.50 carats, they show shades
of vivid green colors and good life, they are all old cuts with
different clarity grades but overall they are great looking.
The
diamonds weigh approximately 0.40 carats, they are G to H color and
VS clarity.
The rubies
are about 0.08 carats total and are cabochon cuts.
Since this
piece is over 100 years old, the 10K solid gold looks very pink in
color. It has some wear, a couple of minor chips here and there, but
as a piece it looks great.
There is
one Demantoid garnet missing from it, but I will try to replace it
when the auction finishes.
The whole
piece measures 3cm by 3.2cm and weighs 8.3 grams.
