for sale is a very rare antique hand carved Roman head Agate & 14K gold
stick pin.
This magnificent little pin
is in very good condition, it's a very unique and unusual looking item.
We estimate this piece to
have been made in the early 19th century, around 1900 through 1910.
The head of the Roman is
hand carved in fine detail, it is made of natural Agate gemstone with
white and honey brown colors.
The agate has a very nice
color variation and some translucence which makes this piece special.
The stock pin part is all
solid 14K yellow gold, it has ridges carved in the gold and it is in
very superb condition.
The whole piece measures
approximately 7.9cm (over 3 inches) long and it weighs 3.8 grams.
