for sale is a beautiful Art Deco sapphire & diamond platinum circle bow
pin.
This magnificent piece is
in very good condition, considering its age which is over 10o years old.
This showy piece features
natural sapphire and diamonds, the sapphires are very nice quality for
such antique stones.
After examination, we
believe that all of the sapphires are natural, untreated in any way.
They are very clean with
beautiful medium soft blue color and old cuts. Under the microscope we
found inclusions indicating these sapphires to be natural untreated,
such sapphires are very hard to find especially in such old pieces.
The total weight of the
sapphires is estimated to be 4.65 carats and the diamonds are estimated
to weigh 1.25 carats. The diamonds are all antique cut and G to H color
SI to VS clarity with most of them being VS.
This piece is a true
collectors item, it was initially purchase for an English antique
dealer, so we assume it to be European in origin.
It is all platinum,
measures approximately 50mm long x 32mm wide and 11.1 grams, it can be
used an a pin and it also has a section which can be used as a pendant.
