a very nice condition, for a piece this old (over 150 years old) it is
simply put...magnificent.
This beautiful snake
necklace is set with 112 antique cut diamond weighing approximately 9
carats and natural turquoise gemstones.
This great piece has a lot
of beautiful motion, the workmanship is superb and inventive for that
period.
This necklace is made of
silver and gold and it is decorated by hand to create one of the
most beautiful antique snake necklaces in the market.
It measures approximately
97 centimeters (App 38 inches) long and 27mm wide (App 1 inch), the head
alone measures approximately 7 centimeters (App 2.7 inches) long!!!
Just as a note, this piece
was purchased a while back at one of the large auction houses in NY and
was authenticated by a few experts on the subject of such antique
pieces.
