Up for sale is a very rare
diamond & natural pearl brooch.
This beautiful brooch is in
the shape on an large insect, maybe a grasshopper or even a type of
large beetle.
This amazing piece is very
large, it is 5cm long by 4cm wide, the pearl set in it is 32mm long by
11mm wide.
The pearl is a natural
Abalone pearl, it shows beautiful colors and great luster for such an
old piece.
The diamonds in this piece
are estimated to weigh about 1.50 carats, all the diamonds are natural
old cut diamonds, most of them are VS clarity and G-H color.
The brooch itself looks
like it's part silver, part gold, maybe even some gunmetal, but it's so
old we are not going to test it.
One small section of it
came loose, but it will be repaired free of charge.
This is a great piece and
it is perfect for special events or for an investment. |
